President Song Hui'an gave a detailed introduction to the industry and major member enterprises of the Flanders China Chamber of Commerce, and expressed that Belgian enterprises are full of confidence and strong interest in the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port. They hope to strengthen communication with the Hainan Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade, learn more about the relevant policies of Hainan Free Trade Port, and promote more Belgian and European enterprises to expand exchanges and cooperation with Hainan.
Consul Fei Xiawa stated that the preferential policies of Hainan Free Trade Port have attracted Belgian enterprises. Belgian PB LEINER Group is a high-tech company that has been put into operation in Hainan and will further expand its production scale. He hopes to attract Belgian enterprises in the pearl, beer, chocolate, and rubber tire industries to invest and develop in Hainan through this successful example of this enterprise.
Both sides will establish a daily communication mechanism, strengthen economic and trade information exchange, and exchange visits of business delegations, jointly build an online and offline communication and cooperation platform for bilateral enterprises, especially inviting Belgian enterprises to participate in activities such as the "Hainan Free Trade Port Industrial Park Investment Cooperation Conference" and the 2023 "Haigaobo", and reach a cooperation consensus.
