On February 28th, the Hainan Province Solomon Islands Lombel Province Economic and Trade Exchange Conference, jointly organized by the Hainan Provincial Foreign Affairs Office and foreign parties, was held online. More than 20 representatives from more than 10 institutions in the two regions attended and exchanged information on the situation.

At the meeting, both sides introduced their respective economic and social development situations. The Chinese Academy of Sciences introduced the development of agriculture in our province and the situation of agricultural exchanges and cooperation with relevant countries in the South Pacific. The International Liaison Department of the Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade introduced the overall economic development of Hainan Free Trade Port. The tourism, fisheries, commerce, and investment departments of Lombel Province respectively introduced cooperation in the economic field. Hainan International Chamber of Commerce invites relevant enterprises such as Xiangtai Fisheries, Leima Trading, and Shuwu Industrial Trading to attend the conference, and introduces the company's related business to Solomon.

The Solomon Islands are an important strategic partner of China in the South Pacific, with enormous potential for cooperation. This exchange has deepened the understanding between Hainan and the Lombel Province of the Solomon Islands in agriculture, fisheries, tourism and other fields, and will promote practical cooperation in related fields.
