On February 27th, the American Chamber of Commerce in South China held a press conference on the "2024 Special Report on the Economic Situation of South China". The event attracted over 200 government officials, entrepreneurs, and media to participate. At the meeting, the International Liaison Department of Hainan Council for the Promotion of International Trade was invited to attend the event and engage in extensive exchanges.
The report consists of 196 pages. 183 companies participated in the survey, providing important data support and valuable development suggestions. The report shows that in 2023, China's economic growth rate reached 5.2%, with a total amount of 17.52 trillion US dollars, which will continue to be an important driving force for global economic growth, contributing about one-third. At the press conference, Saiyading, Chairman of the South China American Chamber of Commerce, presented detailed data and found that 88% of American companies achieved profits in China and 46% reached their budget; 90% of American companies achieve high investment returns in China. It is evident that the Chinese market has broad prospects.
The report conference not only provides rich information for foreign investors in South China, but also an important occasion for conducting business exchanges. CCPIT Hainan, as an important promoter and bridge of Hainan Free Trade Port's foreign economic and trade cooperation, will continue to leverage its advantages and actively engage in exchanges and cooperation with important business associations in China. By strengthening contacts with the embassies and business associations in southern China, we can further expand our horizons and play an important role in promoting the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port and attracting more foreign investment.
