The six chief representatives of our representative offices in Thailand, Germany, the Middle East, Canada, South Korea and Japan respectively introduced the work of the representative offices and the work plan of this year, and also put forward opinions and suggestions on strengthening the work efficiency of our representative offices abroad. Subsequently, Vice President Chen Hongliang pointed out in his speech that the establishment of six representative offices of Hainan Council for the promotion of international trade aims to gradually establish an overseas work network for international trade and investment promotion matching Hainan free trade port, extend work arms, expand overseas resources, publicize and promote Hainan free trade port, and further deepen economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between Hainan Province and host countries (regions), Novel coronavirus pneumonia and the Hainan free trade port will play an active role in promoting the international and domestic double circulation. We hope that the representative offices will overcome the continuous impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic situation, arrange their work plans according to the monthly or quarterly plan, give full play to their advantages, and closely follow the Hainan trade port investment and recruitment requirements. The heads of member enterprises such as the executive chairman unit and vice chairman unit of Hainan International Chamber of Commerce had an interactive exchange with the representative offices abroad in terms of the trade and investment environment information of the host country (region), industrial development information, introduction of high-end special products and so on.

Finally, President Li Zhijie pointed out that the establishment of representatives abroad is to learn from the practice of brotherly CCPIT, give full play to the role of CCPIT as an international bridge and link, and serve the construction of Hainan free trade port. At present, the six representative offices abroad assume the role of pioneers and need to continuously accumulate work experience and summarize work methods. It is hoped that the representative offices abroad will do a targeted job in various services in terms of economic and trade channel construction, economic and trade information provision, investment attraction and other aspects according to the requirements of their work responsibilities.

According to the needs of Hainan Province, the foreign trade promotion office will carry out foreign trade negotiation, promote the effectiveness of enterprises in Hainan Province by means of video, and provide information exchange in batches according to the needs of foreign trade promotion enterprises in Hainan Province. At present, the six overseas representative offices of Hainan Council for the promotion of international trade have covered 15 countries, including Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iran, Japan, Canada and Germany, and have initially formed an overseas trade promotion network. Relevant personnel from the International Liaison Department and the Secretariat of Hainan International Chamber of Commerce attended the meeting.
