On the afternoon of December 16, the video dialogue meeting between Hainan Provincial People's government and the UK China trade association was held Online + offline. Governor Feng Fei attended the meeting in Haikou and held dialogue and exchanges with British participants.

As an economic and Trade Promotion Agency for China jointly supported by the British government and the business community, the UK China Trade Association has nearly 1000 member units and has been in contact with China for more than 50 years, playing an important role in promoting China UK economic and trade cooperation. At the dialogue meeting, the British Consul General in Guangzhou and representatives of BP, Baker Hughes, HSBC, Lixun group, KPMG and other enterprises held dialogues and exchanges on the three themes of green development of Hainan free trade port, development of modern service industry of Hainan free trade port and improvement of business environment in Hainan. Feng Fei answered the specific investment intentions and specific questions mentioned in the British statement one by one.

On behalf of the provincial Party committee and the provincial government, Feng Fei thanked the UK China Trade Association and British people from all walks of life for their long-term strong support for the development of Hainan, and introduced the policy of Hainan free trade port and the current high-quality economic and social development of Hainan. He said that the parties to the dialogue had an in-depth exchange of views on low-carbon development, trade in services, business environment and other issues, reached broad consensus and achieved the expected results. It is expected that all parties will take this dialogue as a new starting point, establish closer ties with each other, and let more foreign-funded enterprises pay attention to and participate in the construction of Hainan free trade port, so as to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
